Mobile v. Desktop Web Traffic v. Purchases

Last year Adobe analysed the amount of traffic to eCommerce websites relative to purchases made by desktop, mobile and tablet devices.


The results?


People overwhelmingly prefer navigating on websites using their mobile device, but end purchasing on desktop. Would this be the case if the mobile checkout experience wasn't, as Adobe puts it, "notoriously worse than on desktop"?
